All over the place, temperatures have been soaring up and over the 90 degree mark, driving many people to think about getting themselves into the cold ocean. If you haven’t already, you are more than likely planning a beach vacation or day trip sometime soon, so you need to get ready. Although you should pack a bag, there are a number of fashion issues to consider when visiting the beach.
Here are some ideas and tips for enhancing your western beach fashion:
Hairstyle – Your hairstyle is a major element of any outfit, but it can be a major problem at the beach, especially if you plan on getting in the water. If you are not going to go swimming, consider having your hair styled up in a bun or up-do. This will help you get some color on your face (if you want it) – just make sure you use plenty of sunscreen. If you are tanning and getting your hair wet, consider a western style hat. You won’t want to have to style your hair after a swim and you’ll be keeping the sun out off your neck and face.
Handbag – Your normal handbag is not the best choice for your beach excursion. You need a good place to keep all of your items – from the book you’re reading all the way down to the t-shirt you’re wearing home. A nice tote style wholesale handbag should suffice, unless you are bringing the kids with you. In that case, you might want to bring a backpack instead.
Clothing / Bathing Suits – The biggest trend you will see this year at the beach is going to be the cover-up – i.e. boy shorts, sarongs, skirts and the like – being worn over bathing suits as an added style element. This fashion choice is also a great way to be a bit more demure at the beach.
