Braccialini featured its new Carinabag, which resembles a taxi, in the gift bags. The design process for the bag lasted over a year. Braccialini used the same methods that are used to design cars to create the look of its Carinabag. The creative team utilized three-dimensional models, production assembly, and color evaluation processes.
Braccialini’s designers wanted their new handbag to have a “shiny new car” look. Technicians searched for the best materials and finishes to create bright colors, softness, and rigidity. The handbag has detailed wheels, doors, and gold hardware that contribute to its new car appearance. The Carinabag is available in black, red, blue, and hot pink.
Braccialini is a leather accessories company based in Florence, Italy. It was founded in 1954 by Carla and Roberto Braccialini after Carla’s handbag was stolen and she realized how many important items she carried in it. She was inspired to create fun artistic designs and taught a small team to sew handbags. Braccialini is currently run by her three sons, and she is an active member of the creative team.
Braccialini handbags are sold in 60 countries. The company has over 50 stores around the world and an agreement with Luxury Retail Partners New York to expand globally.
