The Desperate Housewives actress was recently spotted wearing a cow print bag. If you take a closer look at the cow print handbag, you’ll see that it’s not only cow print but made from real cow hide, hair included. As cow patterns can vary, the handbag carried by Longoria is a dark brown, almost chocolate color with medium-sized white spots. Being a fairly large bag, the cow purse is a hobo style. The strap on the purse, however, is the only part that doesn’t have any cow hide or hair on it. As we’ve seen a fair amount of western style handbags in Hollywood recently, Longoria’s handbag is the quintessential find for western style.

Animal prints, on the other hand, have been seen around Hollywood. Most commonly, these are leopard prints or tiger stripes or some variation on either. The prints for these handbags are generally on leather or another material – not made out of the original hide. With the exception of snake and crocodile skin purses and clutches, most animal print handbags are made from leather or patent leather, typically.

If you’re looking for a handbag similar to Eva Longoria’s, Best Handbag Wholesale carries various western-inspired bags. Most of these wholesale handbags involve hide or cow hair in their natural state or altered slightly. Many of the recent cowhide handbags at BHW are dyed a brighter color like blue or red and have western embellishments along the edges. From tote bags to hobo bags, all types of handbags can be designed with western style. Aside from the cowhide used for many of these wholesale handbags, most are adorned with a large belt buckle closure and are studded with conchos or western stones like turquoise. This not only applies to handbags at BHW but wallets, as well.
