Match Your Bag to Your Body Type

There is no one perfect bag that works for everyone out there, no matter what designers or fashion critics say. Picking a handbag is a difficult process, especially when you consider that certain bags look good with certain people. For example, just because a Hermes Birkin is a popular bag doesn’t mean that it will look good on you. Maybe you look better with a western style handbag or a different designer handbag than a bag that the celebrities carry.

A major element of matching a bag to you is by considering your body type and how your fashion choices dictate the flow of your ensembles. Here are some guidelines to follow when matching your body type to wholesale handbags:

– The size of your bag should be a reflection of your body size – i.e. small bags, small body. This is not always the case though, depending on the event that you are attending. For instance, you wouldn’t want to wear a large purse to a charity event or awards ceremony, so keep your audience in mind as well.

– Don’t wear bags that are too large if you consider yourself a slim person because you may overpower your natural beauty by drawing attention to the bag as opposed to you. You want to wear the bag – not have the bag wear you.

– The balance between you and your outfit is crucial to the bag that you may choose when going out. If you are tall and skinny, you may want to accentuate curves that aren’t there. To do so, use a purse that is on the medium end of things with along strap that holds the bag near your waist. This will draw the eye to this area and make it seem as if you have a slender mid section that leads into curves on your hips.

Obviously, there are a number of other factors that go into choosing a handbag, but consider your body type when picking out your next bag. You may surprise yourself!
